The practice nurses are fully qualified to carry out:
- Health promotion
- Cervical smears
- Chlamydia screening and general sexual health advice
- Blood pressure checks
- Taking blood samples (for those unable to get to hospital)
- Ear syringing
- Dressings and removal of sutures
- Advice for travellers
- Immunisation for both children and adults
- Contraceptive advice
- Spirometry
